"Isn't it okay to leave it as is?"

I wonder how long it’s been since I last lay on the grass.
Thinking, “I don’t even care anymore,” I stayed lying down, looked at the evening sky, and stretched my back.
Even while thinking what a slovenly adult I was in front of someone younger, I kept absentmindedly gazing at the evening sky.
“Hey, isn’t it okay to just stay the way you are? Even if you’re crying or angry... I find you interesting.”
Surprised, I looked over, and Yuu-kun, who had been gazing at the river until just a moment ago, was smiling at me.
Being comforted like this, and that gentle, un-high-school-like gaze, suddenly made me feel embarrassed.
